Complaints and Reporting

Formal Complaints and Reporting Procedures

A Student Senate created list that aims to be resources for students, faculty, and staff to learn how to report issues and incidents that occur at KU’s campuses.

This policy protects any KU employee or other member of the KU community who makes a good-faith disclosure of suspected wrongful conduct and establishes the appropriate reporting mechanisms to be used for notification and protection from retaliation. There are several reporting procedures depending on the nature of the issue or wrongdoing.

See the KU Policy Library's Whistleblower Policy.

The University has established a hotline to facilitate anonymous reporting of activities that may involve suspected misconduct or other wrongdoing. This channel is administered by Lighthouse, an independent provider that assists the University to identify improper activity to protect all persons who use our secure reporting system.
